Revelation 7: Entering the Millennium
Revelation 7: Entering the Millennium
I. Foreword:
1. God gave the land of Canaan to Abraham
By faith, Abraham (original name: Abram) obeyed the command when he was called to go to the place he would inherit in the future. In Genesis Chapter 15, God said to Abram: He also said to him, “I am the Lord, who brought you out of Ur of the Chaldeans to give you this land to take possession of it.”(NIV, Genesis 15:7)
2.Unconditional land covenant
But Abram said, “Sovereign Lord, how can I know that I will gain possession of it?”So the Lord said to him, “Bring me a heifer, a goat and a ram, each three years old, along with a dove and a young pigeon.”Abram brought all these to him, cut them in two and arranged the halves opposite each other; the birds, however, he did not cut in half. (NIV, Genesis 15:8-10).
While this covenant ceremony was going on, God caused Abram to fall into a deep sleep! God himself unilaterally walked through the pieces of flesh with a smoking furnace and a burning torch, stepping on the blood. Abram did not need to step on the blood and pass through those pieces of flesh. God used this special way to deliberately show that He Himself was responsible for keeping this covenant.
Generally, the ceremony of making a splitting covenant involves both parties walking through the split livestock. However, since Abram did not step on the blood and passed through the pieces of flesh, he did not need to make any oath. Because there were no conditions imposed on Abram, this covenant was called the "unconditional land covenant."
3.This land was given to Abram and his descendants
On that day the Lord made a covenant with Abram and said, “To your descendants I give this land, from the Wadi of Egypt to the great river, the Euphrates—(NIV, Genesis 15:18)
the land of the Kenites, Kenizzites, Kadmonites, Hittites, Perizzites, Rephaim, Amorites, Canaanites, Girgashites, Jebusites. (Genesis 15:18-21).
II. God gave Israel the promised land
1. There are rivers, springs, and sources in that land.
Observe the commands of the Lord your God, walking in obedience to him and revering him. For the Lord your God is bringing you into a good land—a land with brooks, streams, and deep springs gushing out into the valleys and hills; (NIV, Deuteronomy 8:6-7)
For the Lord your God is bringing you into a good land—a land with brooks, streams, and deep springs gushing out into the valleys and hills; a land with wheat and barley, vines and fig trees, pomegranates, olive oil and honey; a land where bread will not be scarce and you will lack nothing; a land where the rocks are iron and you can dig copper out of the hills. (NIV, Deuteronomy 8:7-10).
2. In the Old Testament era, this land was called the land of Israel.
Then he said to me: “Son of man, these bones are the people of Israel. They say, ‘Our bones are dried up and our hope is gone; we are cut off.’ Therefore prophesy and say to them: ‘This is what the Sovereign Lord says: My people, I am going to open your graves and bring you up from them; I will bring you back to the land of Israel. (NIV, Ezekiel 37:11-12)
Ezekiel prophesied in the context of its spiritual meaning that God was going to do a great thing to Israel. He would rebuild the Israelites from the ashes of the Nazi Holocaust and bring them back to this land. Bones come to life.
3. Over a hundred years after Christ, the Jews were expelled and the land was renamed "Palestine"
The Jews rebelled many times and wanted to establish an independent country. In 135, the Roman Emperor Hadrian expelled all Jews from the Jewish province and renamed the land "Palestine". This land was then settled by Arabs, who called them Palestinians.
From 135 AD to 1948 AD, the land was called Palestine, and all people living there, regardless of race (including Jews), were called Palestinians; for example, you were a Jew born there in 1947 , the birth certificates all read: "Palestinian".
The name "Palestine" is named after the Philistines, the old enemies of the Israelites. The root word is "invaders". In 1948, Israel was established as a state and regained its land before returning to its original name: "Israel".
4. Many ignorant people say, "It was the Arabs who came to this land first."
This is another lie made up by Satan to deceive the nations and say, "Okay. But you know what? It was the Arabs who came to this land first, is that true?" Well, let's look into the Bible, Nehemiah. , get to the bottom of it and find out who came to this land first.
At that time, Nehemiah left Persia and returned to the land of Israel, to the city of Jerusalem, to rebuild the city walls and temple. In the process, Nehemiah met three men when Sanballat the Horonite, Tobiah the Ammonite official and Geshem the Arab heard about it, they mocked and ridiculed us. “What is this you are doing?” they asked. “Are you rebelling against the king?”(NIV, Nehemiah 2: 19)
Nehemiah answered them by saying, “The God of heaven will give us success. We his servants will start rebuilding, but as for you, you have no share in Jerusalem or any claim or historic right to it.”(NIV, Nehemiah 2:20) Another translation is "Let us return to Jerusalem and build the wall in this city." , according to the covenant between God and Abraham, you have come to inherit this land; but you have no share in the land and no inheritance.”
5. Satan fabricated a lie: Israel robbed other people’s land, thinking that the real name of the land was Palestine.
Satan told a lie, saying: "The real name of this land is not Israel, but Palestine. Take a look at your own Bible. In the map part of the appendix it says: PALESTINE IN CHRIST'S TIME.
That kind of explanation is clearly from the devil, framing Israel to seize Arab land; this is simply a big lie, because this way of writing is inconsistent with history. This land was recorded in the Bible as the land of Israel during the time of Jesus.
The Bible says: After Herod died, an angel of the Lord appeared in a dream to Joseph in Egypt and said, “Get up, take the child and his mother and go to the land of Israel, for those who were trying to take the child’s life are dead.” So he got up, took the child and his mother and went to the land of Israel. (NIV, Matthew 2:19-21).
III. God will never abandon Israel
1. God’s purpose in choosing Israel is to let the Gentiles know Jehovah, who is the only true God.
“How great you are, Sovereign Lord! There is no one like you, and there is no God but you, as we have heard with our own ears. 23 And who is like your people Israel—the one nation on earth that God went out to redeem as a people for himself, and to make a name for himself, and to perform great and awesome wonders by driving out nations and their gods from before your people, whom you redeemed from Egypt? (2 Samuel 7:22-23)
God’s purpose in choosing Israel was to reveal His great name and let the Gentiles know the only true God, Jehovah. Rahab, a prostitute in Jericho, said to the two spies: We have heard how the Lord dried up the water of the Red Sea for you when you came out of Egypt, and what you did to Sihon and Og, the two kings of the Amorites east of the Jordan, whom you completely destroyed. When we heard of it, our hearts melted in fear and everyone’s courage failed because of you, for the Lord your God is God in heaven above and on the earth below. (NIV, Joshua 2:10-11)
2. The Gentiles accept the God of Israel, and God loves them just as He loves the Israelites. Boaz said to Ruth, a Moabite woman, May the Lord repay you for what you have done. May you be richly rewarded by the Lord, the God of Israel, under whose wings you have come to take refuge.”(NIV, Ruth 2:12)
Gentiles must understand one thing. Just as Jehovah loves the Israelites, as long as you accept the God of Israel, He will also love you! In the Bible, in addition to the Moabite woman Ruth, there are also the prostitute Rahab and the Kenizzite Caleb (Numbers 32:12). In addition, the entire Gibeonite tribe returned and worked as woodcutters and water carriers for the house of God. These people were all Gentiles who returned and became God’s people.
Jehovah loves these returned Gentiles just as He loves the Israelites. For God does not show favoritism. He is the God of Israel and the God of the Gentiles.
3. Since God’s people killed the Lord Jesus, they were scattered to all countries in the world.
When Pilate saw that he was getting nowhere, but that instead an uproar was starting, he took water and washed his hands in front of the crowd. “I am innocent of this man’s blood,” he said. “It is your responsibility!” All the people answered, “His blood is on us and on our children!” (NIV, Matthew 27:24-25)
The Jews captured the Lord Jesus and handed him over to Pilate, the Gentile governor, and begged Him to be crucified. When Pilate saw that his words were of no avail and that a commotion was brewing, he took water and washed his hands in front of everyone, saying, " I am innocent of this man’s blood . It is your responsibility" All the people answered, “His blood is on us and on our children!”
In AD 70, God's punishment really came. Because the Jews wanted to establish an independent nation, the Roman army captured Jerusalem. Thousands of Israelites were killed, and many of the chosen people fled everywhere. In 135 AD, all the Jews were expelled and the land was renamed "Palestine".
4. Pilate’s fate
The evil act of killing the Lord Jesus was a sin committed by both Jews and Gentiles together. Pilate, the Gentile governor, as the highest judicial official in the region, gave in to the rebellious people and sentenced an innocent man to death even though Jesus had broken no law and had no evidence to prove His guilt. Soon, Pilate himself became seriously ill and fell into a coma for a long time.
Later, he was dismissed from his post due to his suppression of the Samaritan riots and was exiled to Gaul. His dream of promotion was completely shattered! All his property in Rome was confiscated, and he was eventually reduced to having nothing and living like a slave. The new emperor of Rome, Caligula, was also dissatisfied with him and ordered him to be exiled from the army; Pilate fell into despair and eventually went crazy and burned himself to death.
5. God will never abandon Israel
This is what the Lord says, he who appoints the sun to shine by day, who decrees the moon and stars to shine by night, who stirs up the sea so that its waves roar—the Lord Almighty is his name:“Only if these decrees vanish from my sight,” declares the Lord,
“will Israel ever cease being a nation before me.” (NIV, Jeremiah 31:35-36).
The spiritual meaning of these sentences is to say: "Only when the sun no longer rises in the morning, the moon and stars no longer move according to their orbits, and the ocean no longer follows the laws of tides, will my people Israel be cut off from my presence." Or it can. Say this: "God will never leave Israel or cease to be a nation unless the sun rises in the west and the moon and stars cease to appear."
Israel is God’s chosen people, a specially chosen people who will belong to God as a kingdom of priests and become a holy people. Although they have been disobedient and did not serve God exclusively for centuries, and were punished by Jehovah and were dispersed, God never abandoned them.
6. On May 14, 1948, Israel was restored as a nation
“This is what the Lord, the God of Israel, says: ‘Write in a book all the words I have spoken to you. 3 The days are coming,’ declares the Lord, ‘when I will bring my people Israel and Judah back from captivity and restore them to the land I gave their ancestors to possess,’ says the Lord.”(NIV, Jeremiah 30: 2-3)
Since the twentieth century, Jews have returned to Israel one after another and opened their original homes!
On May 14, 1948, the British decided that at 12 o'clock that night, the army would leave the Palestinian Mandate Area; so it notified Israel that it needed to decide immediately whether to establish a state! Otherwise, starting from the early morning of the next day, this issue will be resolved by Israel and the Middle East countries themselves.
David Ben-Gurion (Israel's first prime minister), said: "I have only a few hours to make a decision, but this country must be born." At four o'clock in the afternoon, he announced to the world: "The state of Israel has been officially established." Eleven minutes later, it was immediately recognized by the United States. As the sun goes down that day, it enters the fiftieth day of the Hebrew calendar, and Pentecost begins! This wonderful timing is like God announcing in heaven: "On May 14, 1948, the day of Pentecost, the nation of Israel was officially born!"
This fulfills the words of the Scripture: Who has ever heard of such things? Who has ever seen things like this? Can a country be born in a day or a nation be brought forth in a moment? Yet no sooner is Zion in labor than she gives birth to her children. (NIV, Isaiah 66: 8)
IV. God’s inheritance comes from fighting
1. Netanyahu did not listen to the prophet and lost his position as the Prime Minister of Israel.
From 1996 to 1999, Netanyahu was elected as the Prime Minister of Israel, which was his first term; during this period, he visited the United States.
An African , Robert Moreli, a servant of God, was sent to the United States by God to prophesy to him. Natanyahu did not trust him and said, "If you want to prophesy, I will only give you one minute." Robert Moreli said, "God Said, I put you as the Prime Minister of Israel, you must remember not to abandon any piece of my land; otherwise, I will take away your position as Prime Minister.”
In 1999, U.S. Presidents Clinton and Arafat discussed negotiating with Israel to exchange land for peace; Netanyahu agreed, and Sharon was present at the meeting. In July 1999, Netanyahu stepped down, fulfilling the prophet's words.
After that, Sharon was the next prime minister of Israel. In 2005, Sharon agreed to the two-state theory and gave up Gaza to the Palestinians. After making this decision, Sharon suffered a stroke in 2005.
2. The prophet prophesied to Natanyahu again
A few years later, Netanyahu visited the United States again as the retired Prime Minister of Israel; this time, Robert Moreli, a servant of the African God, went to the United States specifically to prophesy to him: "God said, you have not finished your work. I will place you in the position of Prime Minister again; this is a critical time for Israel. You will not give up any land again. I will establish you in the position of Prime Minister and ask you to restore the fallen tabernacle of David."
From 1996 to 1999, from 2009 to 2021 and from 2022 to the present, Netanyahu served as the Prime Minister of Israel three times. On October 7, 2023, the day after the 50th anniversary of the Yom Kippur War, the terrorist organization Hamas broke through the border wall guarded by Israel's heavy troops, killed and injured a large number of military police and civilians, and kidnapped more than 200 hostages. This time, Natanyahu toughened up, declared a national state of emergency, and prepared to fully invade the Gaza Strip; he emphasized: "We vow to avenge this tragic dark day."
3. God’s inheritance comes from fighting
The good land of Canaan promised by God was given to Abraham and his descendants Israel. In the past, when Joshua led God’s people into Canaan and took possession of the land, except for the Hivites living in Gibeon, not one city made a treaty of peace with the Israelites, who took them all in battle. (NIV, Joshua 11:19 ).
This is an inheritance given by God, and no one is allowed to sell the land to cut it off! No matter who he is, if he sells his territory at will, God will never let him go easily, and he will be punished by His wrath!
4. During the thousand-year kingdom, Jesus returns to Jerusalem and reigns as king over the entire earth.
Heaven must receive him until the time comes for God to restore everything, as he promised long ago through his holy prophets. (NIV, Acts 3:21)
After the Lord Jesus was exalted into heaven, He is always at the right hand of the Father, praying for us without ceasing! Heaven will keep Him until all things are restored, which will be the end of the great tribulation. The Lord will come from heaven in the clouds and defeat the armies of antichrist. Gentiles will believe in the Lord in large numbers, and Israel will know that Jesus is the Messiah. At that time, the thousand-year kingdom will come, and Jesus will return to Jerusalem and sit on the throne of David, reigning over the entire earth, ruling over the nations with a rod of iron.
This is the greatest spiritual revival in human history. People all over the earth will believe in Jesus; and in this way all Israel will be saved. As it is written: “The deliverer will come from Zion; he will turn godlessness away from Jacob. (NIV, Romans 11:26).
5. Who will remain in the great tribulation?
1. The church believes that the overcomers in Jesus will be raptured
Revelation Chapter 4, the holy bride is the overcomer of the church, who will be raptured before the disaster and sit on the throne in heaven, like jasper and ruby, (Revelation 4:3)
Most people mistakenly believe that the One sitting on the throne, like jasper and ruby, is our Father in heaven! In fact, that one is not God the Father, but the holy bride of Christ; the bride is the wife of the Lamb, which is the city in heaven with foundations, the holy city New Jerusalem.
The brightness of the holy city (the bride) is like jasper (Revelation 21:9/11), and its battlements are made of ruby (Isaiah 54:12). Therefore, if I look at this holy city from a distance, it looks like a piece of dazzling jasper, inlaid with extremely precious rubies. The two reflect each other and emit sparkling colors. It is really beautiful!
2. The church that preaches the gospel and suffers for the Lord
There is only one chance to be raptured. Whether you are an Israelite or a Gentile, you only need to accept the salvation of Jesus Christ and receive the "blood - repentance", "water - baptism", and "the Holy Spirit - speaking in tongues" (1 John 5:8). Those who are established in the church can be raptured into the kingdom of God, because God is no respecter of persons.
The normal life of a Christian requires living a godly life, reading the Bible, praying, preaching the gospel, making sacrifices, and living a holy life on earth... Especially in the trial of fire, we can still be strong in the Lord and hold on to the truth until death! You can be raptured before the disaster and reign with the Lord in heaven.
There are seven churches in the Book of Revelation. How many of them have some problems and are not perfect? But there were two churches in which the Holy Spirit did not rebuke them: the church in Philadelphia and the church in Smyrna. What is it about them that loves the Lord that earns them praise from God?
(1) The Church in Philadelphia – a church that preaches the gospel
"I know your deeds. See, I have placed before you an open door that no one can shut. I know that you have little strength, yet you have kept my word and have not denied my name." (NIV, Revelation 3:8)
⑵. To the Church in Smyrna – the church that suffers for the Lord
"Do not be afraid of what you are about to suffer. I tell you, the devil will put some of you in prison to test you, and you will suffer persecution for ten days. Be faithful, even to the point of death, and I will give you life as your victor’s crown." (NIV, Revelation 2:10)
3. Brothers and sisters in the church who pray for Israel will receive more blessings for the rapture.
Pray for the peace of Jerusalem:
“May those who love you be secure. (NIV, Psalm 122:6)
May nations serve you
and peoples bow down to you.
Be lord over your brothers,
and may the sons of your mother bow down to you.
May those who curse you be cursed
and those who bless you be blessed.” (NIV, Genesis 27:29)
The following is the vision and revelation of Pastor Brandon Biggs from the United States: The scenes the Lord revealed to me were complicated and I had to be cautious in order to correctly convey God’s words.
⑴. God’s glory surrounds Trump
Trump’s victory in the U.S. presidential election is a turning point in history, blocking the enemy’s well-planned conspiracy, and bringing us the grace of the Lord. I saw with my own eyes a brand new Trump, surrounded by the glory of God; he is no longer the same as before, but is filled and guided by the Holy Spirit, and every decision demonstrates the wisdom of God.
⑵. Trump’s alliance with Israel has brought great blessings to the country
Trump has forged a solid alliance with Israel, like the dawn, bringing unprecedented blessings to the country. When the United States and Israel join hands, like David and Jonathan forging a deep friendship, this covenant serves as a solid shield. God's will is that whoever blesses Israel, the Lord will bless them; those who curse Israel will be cursed, and God will bring disaster upon them.
⑶. Countless oil wells are springing up in the United States.
With the advent of the blessed site, I seemed to see countless oil wells springing up like mushrooms after a rain! President Trump will actively exploit oil, and the rolling wealth, like a rushing river, will be continuously injected into the blood of the country; the resources of the Gulf of Mexico will be fully exploited, funds will flow in like a tide, and the economic situation will be reversed in an instant. All this prosperity and prosperity comes from our close alliance with Israel and the endless blessings given by God. Because of its alliance with Israel, America once again bathes in the Lord's responsibility.
⑷. Israel is like a huge cornucopia, rich in oil and natural gas.
The land of Israel and the azure Mediterranean Sea contain endless treasures; the oil storage structures owned by Israel are like giant treasure basins gifted by nature, containing precious oil and natural gas. In the next four years, these resources will be gradually developed and utilized, and their value is inestimable. They will definitely bring huge financial resources and promote Israel's vigorous development in various fields such as agriculture, science and technology... All of this is a miraculous witness to the Abrahamic covenant and a vivid manifestation of supernatural power.
⑸. Because the United States supports Israel, it shares blessings with Israel.
The United States will also share in this blessing because of its support for Israel. With President Trump’s strong support for the church, people can believe in God more freely, spread the gospel of salvation, and boldly proclaim the testimony of Jesus. This kind of protection and support from God is really rare in my lifetime; perhaps only when the founding fathers founded the country, there was a similar scene!
6. Who will stay in the great tribulation?
Chapter 7 of Revelation is about those who remain in the natural disaster, including Christians who do not love the Lord and those in Israel who keep the law. These people who have not been raptured must adhere to the truth on earth and refrain from worshiping the image of the beast or receiving the mark of the beast until death, in order to enter the thousand-year kingdom.
Anyone who compromises to worship the image of the beast and receive the mark of the beast has sold his soul, and when he dies, he will go to the lake of fire and suffer pain forever and ever. Here are the people who were left behind during the Great Tribulation:
1. People who love the world
Do not love the world or anything in the world. If anyone loves the world, love for the Father is not in them. For everything in the world—the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life—comes not from the Father but from the world. (NIV, 1 John 2:15/16)
Never think that you will definitely be raptured. You need to hold on to a trembling and fearful heart, lest you be left in the great tribulation. If you think you are standing firm, be careful that you don’t fall! (NIV, 1 Corinthians 10:12) Just think about it, do you have the burden to preach the gospel during consecutive holidays? Still plan to eat, drink, have fun outside, go hiking and play in the water, and enjoy all kinds of entertainment!
Spiritual fathers serve God and have many virtues. I will only list evangelism. Do you imitate him as he imitates Christ? Please evaluate yourself. Have you done this? If not, you must be humble and try your best to live up to this standard; otherwise you may remain in the great tribulation.
⑴. Every Sunday afternoon, the spiritual father takes the brothers and sisters out to preach the gospel without interruption for decades, regardless of whether the weather is good or bad, whether the sun is shining in summer or the wind is biting in winter.
⑵. On the eve of a typhoon, it was windy and rainy outside, and co-worker Sister Wang Junyi stayed behind. Her spiritual father ordered that the brothers and sisters in the church should continue to preach the gospel as usual in the arcade below and not stop. So Sister Wang took a brother to do the main work in the wind and rain, and four of them were baptized, giving glory to Jesus Christ!
⑶. Sister Wang Junyi is pregnant. Under the leadership of her spiritual father, she still has to go out to preach the gospel every Sunday afternoon.
⑷. The spiritual father has three children. He must go out to preach the gospel every Sunday afternoon. The children are all taken care of by God’s servant Sister Zuo. In addition to taking care of the children, Sister Zuo is also responsible for the meals for the gospel team when they return.
⑸. The spiritual father took advantage of the consecutive vacations to personally lead the brothers and sisters of Shipai Church to carry out evangelism around the island and spread the gospel throughout Taiwan.
⑹. The spiritual father pastored in Magong, and a Presbyterian sister donated one-tenth of her annual income. With this fund, he went to the islands of Magong to preach the gospel, and gained many young people, and the church was greatly revived. ! After he left Magong Church, the shepherd did not continue to preach the gospel, and the light of the golden lampstand went out!
⑺. The church only goes out once a year, and the spiritual father takes the brothers and sisters out to play and enjoy nature outside. Later, because of the winter and summer conferences, it was changed to twice a year, once in the winter and summer vacations.
2. Those who keep the law cannot be raptured if they do not believe in Jesus
Clearly no one who relies on the law is justified before God, because “the righteous will live by faith. (NIV, Gal. 3:11)
If a person does not believe in Jesus, he cannot be raptured; for the Bible says:
Christ is the culmination of the law so that there may be righteousness for everyone who believes. (NIV, Romans 10:4).
7. Disasters caused by wind in the great tribulation
After this I saw four angels standing at the four corners of the earth, holding back the four winds of the earth to prevent any wind from blowing on the land or on the sea or on any tree. Then I saw another angel coming up from the east, having the seal of the living God. He called out in a loud voice to the four angels who had been given power to harm the land and the sea: “Do not harm the land or the sea or the trees until we put a seal on the foreheads of the servants of our God.” (NIV, Revelation 7:1-3)
1. the four winds of the earth
The four winds of the earth refers to the winds of catastrophic judgment, including tornadoes, typhoons (hurricanes)...
The strong winds brought by a "typhoon (hurricane)" can knock down houses, uproot trees, fly sand and rocks, and harm people and animals; rainfall that is too rapid and has no time to vent may lead to flooding in lowlands; flash floods, surges in rivers, and even the destruction of houses and roads , bridges, these are disaster phenomena directly caused by wind and rain.
A "tornado" has great suction power. If it occurs on the sea, it can gather into tall water columns and even suck ships into it. If it occurs on land, it can suck up a large amount of sand and dust, uprooting trees and flipping off roofs. , or roll up people, vehicles, livestock, etc., causing fires, gas explosions, etc.
2. The consequences of the United States selling out the land of Israel
In 2005, the United States supported the Israelis' withdrawal from the Gaza Strip and allowed it to be dominated by Palestinians. This was tantamount to forcing the Israelis to give up the land promised to them by God. The United States received a response from God. On August 25, 2005, Katrina made landfall in Florida, USA, with the strength of a Category 1 hurricane. At dawn on August 29, Katrina once again made landfall in New Orleans, Louisiana, with the strength of a Category 3 hurricane. Landing on Liangwai coast. It took more than 12 hours after landfall before it weakened into a tropical storm. Katrina caused unprecedented hurricane disaster for the United States, and flags were flown at half-mast the next day, and the name was removed from the hurricane naming sequence.
In 2021, as soon as Biden took office, he overturned Trump's friendly policy towards Israel and warned in the strongest tone that the United States does not support Israel's settlement plan; the settlement plan is that Israel through building houses, they take back the land God gave them. To put it simply, once a house is built and the Jews live in it, the land belongs to Israel. The God’s wrath the United States received from the Lord Jesus Christ was that a tornado swept through four states in the United States in just 4 hours, breaking the historical record.
3. Four angels who bring down winds
This is what the Lord Almighty says:
“Look! Disaster is spreading
from nation to nation;
a mighty storm is rising
from the ends of the earth.”
(NIV, Jeremiah 25:32)
The "four angels" control the winds in the four directions of the earth, preventing them from blowing on the earth, on the sea, or on the trees. These four angels of judgment, who are responsible for carrying out extremely large hurricane disasters, stand at the four corners of the earth, which refers to the four directions of the global horizon, ready to be ordered to issue disasters. This vision is related to the great tribulation. Terrifying and astonishing storms will occur throughout the earth, which are beyond anything mankind has ever seen before.
When the strong wind blows, there will be drastic change of the face of the earth, signboards are blown away, roofs are lifted, cars roll over, pedestrians fall to the ground, objects fly everywhere... People tremble and are scared out of their wits when they see it! As soon as the storm blew, heavy rain poured down, followed by hail, thunder, lightning, and loud noises, and darkness fell on the sky and the earth! People think of the coming great disaster. The disaster will be shocking and terrifying. Who can stand!
4. People with divine seals on their foreheads can avoid wind disasters.
An angel came up from the rising sun, having the seal of the living God. Then he cried with a loud voice to the four angels, saying, Do no harm to you, the earth, the sea, or the trees, until we have sealed the servants of our God on their foreheads.
During the Great Tribulation, those Israelites who have the seal of God on their foreheads mean that they are set apart by God and protected by Him. As long as those who have the seal of the eternal God on their foreheads are devout and law-abiding Israelites, they can all escape the "storm" of judgment and not be harmed!
8. People in Israel who are sealed by God
Then I heard the number of those who were sealed: 144,000 from all the tribes of Israel.
From the tribe of Judah 12,000 were sealed,
from the tribe of Reuben 12,000,
from the tribe of Gad 12,000,
from the tribe of Asher 12,000,
from the tribe of Naphtali 12,000,
from the tribe of Manasseh 12,000,
from the tribe of Simeon 12,000,
from the tribe of Levi 12,000,
from the tribe of Issachar 12,000,
from the tribe of Zebulun 12,000,
from the tribe of Joseph 12,000,
from the tribe of Benjamin 12,000.
(NIV, Revelation 7:4-8)
1. Judah was the strongest of his brothers and a ruler came from him, so the tribe of Judah is first in this list (1 Chronicles 5:2).
2. Reuben was originally the firstborn, but he lost his rights as firstborn when he defiled his father’s marriage bed (NIV, Genesis 49:3-4); thus, Reuben was ranked second in the above list.
3. The rights as firstborn were given to the sons of Joseph son of Israel, a double blessing (NIV, 1 Chronicles 5:1).
4. There is no "Dan" tribe in this list, which may be related to their idolatry (Judges 18:30-31; 1 Kings 12:29-30; 2 Kings 10:29). However, the tribe of Dan will still have one portion in the thousand-year kingdom (Ezek. 48:1).
5. "Joseph" here replaces his son "Ephraim". The latter may have been removed because of his association with idolatry (Hosea 4:17-19)
6. The number of those who were sealed from each tribe of the Israelites was 144,000
There were 144,000 sealed people in Israel. They all feared the Lord and walked according to the law of Moses. Therefore, they were protected during the great tribulation and could avoid the harm of wind and disaster. But these people only keep the law and do not believe in Jesus, and they will all remain in the great tribulation.
9. People who enter the millennium
After this I looked, and there before me was a great multitude that no one could count, from every nation, tribe, people and language, standing before the throne and before the Lamb. They were wearing white robes and were holding palm branches in their hands. And they cried out in a loud voice:
“Salvation belongs to our God,
who sits on the throne,
and to the Lamb.”
(NIV, Revelation 7:9/10)
1. These people will not surrender to the devil, worship the image of the beast, or receive the mark of the beast until death.
“After this I looked, and there before me was a great multitude that no one could count, from every nation, tribe, people and language, standing before the throne and before the Lamb. They were wearing white robes and were holding palm branches in their hands.” (NIV, Revelation 7:9)
This group of people came from all tribes and languages, including Israelites and foreigners. They were refined through fiery trials during the three and a half years of great tribulation. These people will not worship the image of the beast or receive the mark of the beast until they die, and they will not surrender to the devil no matter what!
After the three-and-a-half-year tribulation is over, they will eventually call on the name of the Lord, accept the salvation of Jesus, and be able to enter the millennium, stand before the throne and the Lamb, worship, serve and praise God.
2. People in white clothes
" They were wearing white robes" (NIV, Revelation 7:9)
These people wearing white robes are the overcomers who believe in Jesus. They have been refined from the great tribulations and have washed their robes white with the precious blood of the Lord. Anyone who has received the salvation of the Lord’s gospel has put on Christ’s robe of righteousness; this robe of righteousness is the pure white robes given by the Lord.
Anyone who holds on to the truth and survives three and a half years during the great tribulation is an overcomer. The Bible says, "The one who is victorious will, like them, be dressed in white. I will never blot out the name of that person from the book of life, but will acknowledge that name before my Father and his angels." (NIV, Revelation 3:5)
3. Those who sin and do not repent are naked and cannot enter the millennium.
"You say, ‘I am rich; I have acquired wealth and do not need a thing.’ But you do not realize that you are wretched, pitiful, poor, blind and naked. I counsel you to buy from me gold refined in the fire, so you can become rich; and white clothes to wear, so you can cover your shameful nakedness; and salve to put on your eyes, so you can see.” (NIV, Revelation 3:17-18).
Testimony of Pastor James Kawalya from Uganda:
Before I believed in the Lord, I was a "high-level African wizard" and a "Satanist". The following is what I saw in the spiritual world when I came to the church after receiving grace:
⑴. People who live in sin are naked
Outwardly they appear to be clothed, but spiritually they are naked and unclothed. These people may be leading people in worship and service in the church, shouting loudly: "Glory to the Lord Jesus!" But I see that they are naked. Why? These people are living in sin.
I come from the kingdom of darkness and I am very aware of the harm that sin does to the church, but many people do not pay attention to this. For example, after you believe in the Lord, Jesus gives you a set of clothes; but once you sin, you give that set of clothes to evil spirits. Therefore, many Christians today have lost their clothes and are naked.
⑵. Sin is contagious
If you sin without repentance and have an important role in God’s family, such as serving on the pulpit, then Satan will not destroy you, but will use you. Through your position in the church, sin spreads out of your mouth to taint those around you. In this way, your sin will be more serious because it is amplified by evil spirits.
Speech is a kind of spiritual transmission, and speaking the truth can edify people. The Lord said: "The Spirit gives life; the flesh counts for nothing. The words I have spoken to you—they are full of the Spirit and life. " (NIV, John 6:63) On the contrary, Satan will also destroy people through your words because of your sins! That’s why the Bible says: “In your anger do not sin”: Do not let the sun go down while you are still angry.” (NIV, Ephesians 4:26)
In the spirit world, thoughts are louder than words! Thoughts speak louder than words. If you miss someone very much, you are projecting an idea on him; soon, he will suddenly call you. In the same way, if you hate someone, you are projecting a thought, and through your thoughts you can kill someone thousands of miles away. The Bible says, "Anyone who hates a brother or sister is a murderer, and you know that no murderer has eternal life residing in him." (NIV, 1 John 3:15)
If you have a little bit of sin and stain on your body but do not repent or take it seriously, then this stain will become an entry point for Satan to attack you. In an instant, the devil can control thousands of evil spirits, wizards, sorcerers... and begin to attack this point, and sin will spread and soak into the depths of your spirit. When your evil thoughts are activated, you will release your sins to others, tarnishing the church and even spreading to the entire city or country.
⑶. Confess and repent, live a holy life, buy white clothes and put on them
If you live in sin, but release messages on the stage and lead people to worship, you may appear to be rich, but in fact you are poor, miserable, pitiful, blind... and naked with nothing. For such people, I urge you to repent quickly, break away from the bondage of sin, live a godly and holy life, and work for the Lord sincerely and diligently, so that you can be rich; buy white clothes and put them on so that the shame of your nakedness is not exposed.
Christians during the great tribulation, why can’t you be raptured! Have you committed sexual immorality in private, argued and formed factions in the church, disobeyed the shepherd, spoken ill of others behind their backs... God will expose all the things you do in secret! Only by thoroughly repenting of sin and asking for the precious blood of the Lord Jesus to forgive sins can a person become holy
Therefore, in order to change our lives, we need to put off the behaviors of the old man and put on the new man; this new man is created according to the image of God, with true righteousness and holiness. From now on, it is no longer me who lives, but Christ who lives in me. Only in this way can I have money to buy gold refined in fire, put on white clothes, and enter the thousand-year kingdom.
4. Everyone holds palm branches, which is a grand event to celebrate the Feast of Tabernacles
" Say to the Israelites: ‘On the fifteenth day of the seventh month the Lord’s Festival of Tabernacles begins, and it lasts for seven days.On the first day you are to take branches from luxuriant trees—from palms, willows and other leafy trees—and rejoice before the Lord your God for seven days.” (NIV, Leviticus 23:34, 40)
The Israelites had to celebrate the Feast of Tabernacles every year, taking fruit from the good trees and branches from the palm trees, branches from the dense trees and willow branches by the river. They kept the festival for seven days; they rejoiced before God, eating good things and drinking sweet things. , celebrating the harvest of autumn crops. In addition, they need to share food with the Levites, strangers, poor, orphans, widows, etc. in the city, so that everyone can celebrate the festival happily (Deuteronomy 16:13/14).
5. Living in a tent for seven days
“Live in temporary shelters for seven days: All native-born Israelites are to live in such shelters so your descendants will know that I had the Israelites live in temporary shelters when I brought them out of Egypt. I am the Lord your God.’” (NIV, Leviticus 23:42-43)
So Jewish families all over Israel, they would build these makeshift sheds on their terraces and balconies and decorate them with colorful fruits, ribbons and pictures. Some families would eat in the sheds and even sleep there with their children at night.
The roof of this shed is made of branches, so that people can see the sky, moon and stars when they look up from the shed at night. This reminds God’s people of the time when they came out of Egypt and lived in tents in the wilderness. Those were the days when God was most intimate with them.
“Go and proclaim in the hearing of Jerusalem:
“This is what the Lord says:
“‘I remember the devotion of your youth,
how as a bride you loved me
and followed me through the wilderness,
through a land not sown.
(NIV, Jeremiah 2:2).
6. The Feast of Tabernacles is one of the three major pilgrimage festivals
Three times a year all your men must appear before the Lord your God at the place he will choose: at the Festival of Unleavened Bread (also called the Passover: Luke 22:1), the Festival of Weeks(Pentecost) and the Festival of Tabernacles. No one should appear before the Lord empty-handed: Each of you must bring a gift in proportion to the way the Lord your God has blessed you. ” (NIV, Deuteronomy 16:16/17)
The Feast of Tabernacles is one of the three major pilgrimage days. During these three major festivals, all men among God’s chosen people must go to Jerusalem to observe the festival and meet God. However, they must not appear empty-handed. Each of them must bring a gift in proportion to the way the Lord their God has blessed them.
7. The Feast of Tabernacles is a festival for all peoples
Then the survivors from all the nations that have attacked Jerusalem will go up year after year to worship the King, the Lord Almighty, and to celebrate the Festival of Tabernacles. If any of the peoples of the earth do not go up to Jerusalem to worship the King, the Lord Almighty, they will have no rain. (NIV, Zech. 14:16/17).
God’s people must observe seven festivals every year, among which the Feast of Tabernacles is a festival for all nations. Gentile nations are invited to go to Jerusalem to celebrate the festival, cook meat and offer sacrifices, and worship the King Jehovah. In the coming thousand-year kingdom, all the nations of the earth, as well as all tribes, tongues, and peoples, will all flock to Jerusalem to celebrate the Feast of Tabernacles together. Anyone who does not come up to observe the festival will receive no blessing from that nation, and no rain will fall on their land.
8. During the Millennium, all the peoples gathered together, holding palm branches in hand, and went to Jerusalem to celebrate the Feast of Tabernacles.
They were wearing white robes and were holding palm branches in their hands. And they cried out in a loud voice:
“Salvation belongs to our God,
who sits on the throne,
and to the Lamb.” (NIV, Revelation 7:9-10)
During the Millennium, people from all nations, tribes, peoples, and tongues took palm branches in their hands and went up to the Temple Mount in Jerusalem during the Feast of Tabernacles to appear before the Lord God and Jesus Christ, the slain Lamb; Sing loudly and praise God: “Salvation belongs to our God, who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb.”
Chapter 7 of Revelation describes such a glorious international conference, which is the glory of the Millennium Kingdom and the celebration of the Feast of Tabernacles. At the time of Qu, all the people gathered together, praying in pure languages (praying in tongues), worshiping and serving with one accord; this was a joyful gathering, and how praiseworthy it was (Zeph. 3:9)!
9. All peoples flock to Mount Zion for pilgrimage and observe the Feast of Tabernacles, because God wants all people to be saved and understand the true way.
During the millennium, all peoples will make pilgrimages to Mount Tin to celebrate the Feast of Tabernacles. This is the fulfillment of the words of the Bible:
In the last days
the mountain of the Lord’s temple will be established
as the highest of the mountains;
it will be exalted above the hills,
and all nations will stream to it.
Many peoples will come and say,
“Come, let us go up to the mountain of the Lord,
to the temple of the God of Jacob.
He will teach us his ways,
so that we may walk in his paths.”
The law will go out from Zion,
the word of the Lord from Jerusalem.
(NIV, Isaiah 2:2-3).
" who wants all people to be saved and to come to a knowledge of the truth. " (NIV, 1 Timothy 2:4)
“The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. Instead he is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.” (NIV, 2 Peter 3:9)
The glory of the millennium is God’s great redemption plan. Everyone on the earth must believe in Jesus! At that time, all peoples from all over the world will come to Jerusalem in the Middle East and go up to Mount Zion to meet God; because He wants all people to be saved and understand the truth, and does not want anyone to perish.
10. Millennium worship and belief is divided into two groups: those who keep the law and those who follow the truth.
" For the law was given through Moses; grace and truth came through Jesus Christ." (NIV, John 1:17)
During the millennium, people’s worship and belief on earth can be divided into two groups:
1. It means worshiping in the temple and observing the Law of Moses.
2. Follow the truth in the church and act according to the teachings of the Lord Jesus.
But whether you keep the law or follow the truth, the two are in perfect harmony with each other and will not conflict. However, both groups of people must believe in Jesus in order to receive grace and be saved. The Bible says, "Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved.” (NIV, Acts 4:12)
