I. Introduction: Introduction to the Day of Atonement
1. The origin of Yom Kippur
The Lord called Moses to go up the mountain to get the tablets of the Law, but the people were worshiping the golden calf at the foot of the mountain. When he came down from the mountain and saw the people being presumptuous, he broke the tablets of the Law in anger. Moses went to make atonement for the sins of the people and asked the LORD to forgive him. If he refused, his name would be blotted out of the book of life. The LORD did not agree and replied to Moses, “Whoever has sinned against me I will blot out of my book." ( NIV, Exodus 32:33)
Moses did not lose heart and repeatedly begged God to forgive sins for the sake of the people! In the end, because the people also repented, Jehovah finally agreed! Moses once again followed God's command and went up the mountain to get the tablets of the law. He fasted on the mountain for forty days, and the day he came down was the tenth day of the seventh month. He designated this day as the Day of Atonement, because God had forgiven Israel's sins.
2. Only on the Day of Atonement can the high priest enter the Holy of Holies.
But only the high priest entered the inner room, and that only once a year, and never without blood, which he offered for himself and for the sins the people had committed in ignorance.(NIV, Hebrews 9:7)
In the days of the Old Testament, the high priest could only enter the Holy of Holies alone once a year on the Day of Atonement;
The high priest must first purify himself and enter the Holy of Holies with blood to offer and atone for the sins of himself and the people.
3.fasting and praying
“The tenth day of this seventh month is the Day of Atonement. Hold a sacred assembly and deny yourselves, and present a food offering to the LORD. Do not do any work on that day, because it is the Day of Atonement, when atonement is made for you before the LORD your God. Those who do not deny themselves on that day must be cut off from their people. (NIV, Leviticus 23:27-29)
On the Day of Atonement, Jews will fast for 25 hours, pray, meditate, and approach God humbly throughout the day, pray for forgiveness of sins, and live this festival in repentance and confession; this festival will be observed from generation to generation.
4. Casting lots for two male goats
Then he is to take the two goats and present them before the LORD at the entrance to the tent of meeting. He is to cast lots for the two goats—one lot for the LORD and the other for the scapegoat. (NIV, Leviticus 16:7-8)
⑴. One is the atonement goat (typifying the Lord Jesus, who atones for the sins of the world): This is the day of atonement
This atonement goat was slaughtered as a sin offering and was to belong to the Lord. The Lord Jesus is the true atonement goat. He shed His blood and sacrificed His life on the cross. He died, was buried, resurrected and ascended to heaven. On Pentecost, the Holy Spirit was sent down to complete the complete salvation of blood, water and Holy Spirit.
⑵. One is a scapegoat (returning people’s sins to Satan): This is the day of God’s revenge.
The other scapegoat was to be given to Azazel. All the sins of the people were put on the head of this sheep because of the laying on of hands by the high priest; it was exiled to the wilderness, and eventually wandered and starved to death, and its sins were returned to Azazel (the devil).
5. The Year of Jubilee is announced on the Day of Atonement: liberty, preaching of the gospel, and vengeance of God.
(1) liberty; each of you is to return to your family property and to your own clan
Then have the trumpet sounded everywhere on the tenth day of the seventh month; on the Day of Atonement sound the trumpet throughout your land. Consecrate the fiftieth year and proclaim liberty throughout the land to all its inhabitants. It shall be a jubilee for you; each of you is to return to your family property and to your own clan. (2) Preach the gospel to the poor (scapegoat), this is the day of God’s revenge (scapegoat)
The Spirit of the Sovereign LORD is on me, because the LORD has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners (NIV, Isaiah 61:1)
(3) This is the day of vengeance of our God (One is a scapegoat to return our sins to Satan)
to proclaim the year of the LORD’s favor (The Year of Jubilee) and the day of vengeance of our God (NIV, Isaiah 61:2)
II. The Lord Jesus, the high priest, in the Holy of Holies in heaven, atones for the sins of those in the Great Tribulation
1. The high priest of the Old Testament entered the Holy of Holies for the first time on the Day of Atonement.
He is to take a censer full of burning coals from the altar before the LORD and two handfuls of finely ground fragrant incense and take them behind the curtain. He is to put the incense on the fire before the LORD, and the smoke of the incense will conceal the atonement cover above the tablets of the covenant law, so that he will not die. (NIV, Leviticus 16:12/13).
In the Old Testament, the high priest had to atone for the sins of himself and the people on the Day of Atonement once a year. On that day, you need to enter and exit the Holy of Holies three times to perform your ministry before God.
⑴. When entering the Holy of Holies for the first time, the high priest put incense on the fire. The smoke curled up, filled the front of the ark, and covered the mercy seat. This rising smoke is the high priest's prayer, ascending to the throne of God's grace, that he may receive mercy and find grace so that he may not perish.
⑵. Enter for the second time and sprinkle bull’s blood to make atonement for himself and his household
“Aaron shall bring the bull for his own sin offering to make atonement for himself and his household, and he is to slaughter the bull for his own sin offering....He is to take some of the bull’s blood and with his finger sprinkle it on the front of the atonement cover; then he shall sprinkle some of it with his finger seven times before the atonement cover. (NIV, Leviticus 16:11,14).
⑶. The third time he entered and sprinkled the blood of the goat, the high priest made atonement for the sins of the people and cleansed the tent of meeting, which is among them in the midst of their uncleanness.
“He shall then slaughter the goat for the sin offering for the people and take its blood behind the curtain and do with it as he did with the bull’s blood: He shall sprinkle it on the atonement cover and in front of it. In this way he will make atonement for the Most Holy Place because of the uncleanness and rebellion of the Israelites, whatever their sins have been. He is to do the same for the tent of meeting, which is among them in the midst of their uncleanness. (NIV, Leviticus 16:15/16).
2. The Lord Jesus, the high priest, entered the Holy of Holies in heaven. It is recorded three times in the Book of Revelation. The following is the first time.
Another angel, who had a golden censer, came and stood at the altar. He was given much incense to offer, with the prayers of all God’s people, on the golden altar in front of the throne. (NIV, Revelation 8:3)
From the high priest in the Old Testament, we enter the Holy of Holies and burn incense, pray and worship! You can understand Revelation Chapter 8. The angel holding the golden censer burned incense in front of the mercy seat, and the smoke rose up. He is the Lord Jesus, the high priest. He ministers in the Holy of Holies in heaven and has many gifts of incense. To Him, before the throne of grace of the Father, to intercede for our sins.
The smoke of the angel's incense curling up is Jesus' prayer for our atonement; together with the prayers of all the saints, it is offered on the golden altar in front of the throne, earnestly asking the Father for abundant mercy, so that we can be great in love. Show mercy and cleanse the bride, holy and without blemish, so that she can be raptured victoriously before the disaster.
⑴. Jesus entered the Holy of Holies in heaven to pray for us all
behind the curtain (the Holy of Holies), where our forerunner, Jesus, has entered on our behalf. He has become a high priest forever, in the order of Melchizedek. (NIV, Hebrews 6:20)
Christ’s wedding to the bride is coming soon, and in the days before the Lord’s coming, Jesus will enter the Holy of Holies in heaven to pray for us; He wants all brothers and sisters to be raptured, and does not want anyone to stay in the great tribulation.
⑵. The prayers of all the saints must also enter the Holy of Holies together.
We have this hope as an anchor for the soul, firm and secure. It enters the inner sanctuary behind the curtain (the Holy of Holies) ….Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need. (NIV, Hebrews 6:19, 4:16)
Brothers and sisters in churches around the world, the fasting and prayers of everyone, the collective spiritual prayer in tongues and the breaking of bread to receive the Holy Communion, will also pass through the veil and enter the Holy of Holies in heaven. All the churches are looking forward to the bridegroom coming to marry the bride soon, and the bride to be plump, grown, and fully adorned. Together we will be raptured in victory and sit down with the Lord at the wedding supper of the Lamb.
3. Jesus ascended to the presence of God (heaven) together with the prayers of all the saints.
The smoke of the incense, together with the prayers of God’s people, went up before God from the angel’s hand. (NIV, Revelation 8:4)
The Lord Jesus, the high priest, took much incense from heaven and entered the Holy of Holies to burn incense. The smoke of the incense slowly rose up over the Ark of the Covenant! This is the prayer of the Lord Jesus, which should be united with the prayers of all the saints and offered together on the golden altar in front of the throne. The smoke of the incense, together with the fasting and prayers of the saints, will rise from the hands of the angel (the Lord Jesus the High Priest) to the presence of the Father who is seated on the throne.
4. God’s punishment and revenge
Then the angel (Lord Jesus) took the censer, filled it with fire from the altar, and hurled it on the earth; and there came peals of thunder, rumblings, flashes of lightning and an earthquake. (NIV, Revelation 8:5)
The Lord Jesus took the censer and poured the altar fire onto the ground. Then there were thunders, loud noises, lightnings, and earthquakes. This was the outbreak of God's wrath, the day of His vengeance, punishing those who killed the saints. This is not yet the coming of the great tribulation, but the labor pains of women before the tribulation. They warn the world that the day of the Lord is approaching, and they need to believe in Jesus quickly to avoid staying in the terrible three and a half years.
The 2004 "South Asian tsunami" was triggered by a magnitude 9 earthquake under the sea, killing about 300,000 people! Those who survived the disaster were frightened when they recalled it, and were frightened and panicked when they heard the sound of waves in the sea. However, this terrible and terrifying tsunami is just a precursor to the catastrophe, and the real final disaster has not yet come.
5. When the first angel blows his trumpet, it means the great disaster is coming.
The first angel sounded his trumpet (NIV, Revelation 8:7)
The seven angels standing before God are in heaven preparing to sound the seven trumpets! When the first angel blows the trumpet, it means that the great tribulation is coming; at that time, all those who have not been raptured will cry bitterly and repent! If those who remain in the great tribulation, they will have to pay a price thousands of times to be saved and enter the thousand-year kingdom!
3. South Asia tsunami
On December 26, 2004, a major earthquake occurred in the Indian Ocean, triggering a huge tsunami, commonly known as the South Asian tsunami. It occurred at 7:58:55 in the morning. The epicenter was located 160 kilometers west of Aceh Province, Sumatra Island, Indonesia. The earthquake moment magnitude was 9.1 to 9.3, triggered a wave height of 15 to 30 meters, with a maximum of 51 meters, forming a huge tsunami.
Why was God so angry that a huge earthquake triggered a tsunami in South Asia, killing about 300,000 people or missing?
1. Because in these disaster-stricken areas, especially Indonesia, which is the most severely affected, the country's Islamists persecute Christians, and anti-Christian dissatisfaction is actually very high. During several riots in Indonesia, many Chinese women were raped and murdered in groups, Christians were persecuted, churches were destroyed, buildings were burned, property was looted, and money was looted.
2. Sub-disaster areas such as Thailand, Sri Lanka, Maldives... These places are red light district hotspots, full of all kinds of pornographic businesses, including prostitution, shemales, homosexuals, child molestation, child prostitutes, etc., attracting a large number of tourists every year. The night before the disaster, that is, December 25, people in the area did not commemorate the birth of the Lord, but engaged in "immoral transactions." Before they woke up, the disaster had already come.
3. Many of the victims of the tsunami disaster were tourists from all over the world, especially the West. They took advantage of the Christmas holiday to travel to other places, but they never expected to encounter natural disasters. The Western world, mainly Europe and the United States, has a long history and origin of Christianity. Unfortunately, the church has declined! Many Westerners have been far away from God. For them, the greatest meaning of Christmas is just a holiday of eating, drinking and having fun.
4. There are also many Christians among the tourists who were victimized. Why don’t they stay in their hometowns during Christmas, worship in church to remember the Lord, and seize the opportunity to preach the gospel? Naturally, they can avoid this disaster. I think that if a person who truly loves the Lord with a pure heart encounters such a big tsunami, the Lord will keep you safe; He can send an angel in time to save you from all evil.
4. California Earthquake
"When you hear of wars and rumors of wars, do not be alarmed. These things must take place, but the end is not yet come. People will rise against people, and kingdom against kingdom; there will be earthquakes and famines in many places. These are all calamities (disasters: The original text is the beginning of the troubles of childbirth” (Mark 13:7-8).
On December 5, 2024, after a strong earthquake with a magnitude of 7.0 occurred off the coast of Northern California in the United States, the authorities issued a tsunami warning for large areas of the coast of California and Oregon. A 73-year-old citizen revealed that this was the largest earthquake he had experienced in the 53 years since he moved here; some even described the moment of the earthquake as being in Drop Tower.

These are God’s warnings to mankind, and they are just part of the labor pains before disaster. We can prevent some things through prayer, but some things will definitely happen. The Lord told me, “You have seen the labor pains before the Lord came, and now they will be accompanied by earthquakes, tsunamis, volcanic eruptions, and strange signs from the sun, moon, and stars in the sky. This will be another wave of labor pains.
5. The day of the Lord’s coming is approaching
You need to persevere so that when you have done the will of God, you will receive what he has promised. For, “In just a little while, he who is coming will come and will not delay.” (NIV, Hebrews 10:36-37)

All have the opportunity to hear the gospel and be saved from destruction." Satan is eager to look through the scrolls to see if there is any evidence to stop it from taking over the earth immediately and starting the great tribulation on the earth.
Jesus went on to say: "My chaste bride still holds fast to the faith and continues to stand firm in the Lord amidst all persecutions! I have the right to ask for an extension of the moratorium. 5. Heavenly Father’s judgment: Satan loses, Christ wins

VI. The great harvest at the end of the world
1. Bob Jones’ prophecy

VII. Angels blow trumpets
Then the angel took the censer, filled it with fire from the altar, and hurled it on the earth; and there came peals of thunder, rumblings, flashes of lightning and an earthquake. Then the seven angels who had the seven trumpets prepared to sound them. (NIV, Revelation 8:5-6)
Seven angels blow the seven trumpets. This is the second drama of the great tribulation. It is definitely a wonderful drama. It will thrill you and make you fear God even more! May the seven trumpets of the great tribulation warn the people on earth and free them from all sin and corruption. May they be humble and repentant and live a holy life in preparation for the second coming of Christ.

The first angel sounded his trumpet, and there came hail and fire mixed with blood, and it was hurled down on the earth. A third of the earth was burned up, a third of the trees were burned up, and all the green grass was burned up. (NIV, Revelation 8: 7)
Fire and hail mixed with blood fell on the ground. The wildfire spread quickly and burned one-third of the ground and one-third of the trees. The green grass on the ground was also burned.

The earth's living environment has undergone tremendous changes, causing unusual meteorological reactions, causing one-third of the area to be abnormally hot and dry. In some desert areas, unprecedented and terrifying storms have blown up, blowing yellow sand high into the sky, and forming clouds when exposed to cold. The large hailstones were reddish-yellow like fire mixed with blood when they fell, and due to the dryness and thunder, they caused fires that burned a third of the land and the trees and grass on it.
2. The second trumpet sounds:
The second angel sounded his trumpet, and something like a huge mountain, all ablaze, was thrown into the sea. A third of the sea turned into blood, a third of the living creatures in the sea died, and a third of the ships were destroyed. (NIV, Revelation 8:8-9)
A huge mountain-like object fell into the sea; one-third of the water turned into blood, a large number of marine life died, and one-third of the ship was damaged. The scene was extremely terrifying and horrifying.
This is another unusual supernatural disaster. The possibility is as follows: a large-scale volcanic eruption occurs under the sea or on land close to the ocean, spewing huge rocks and lava high into the sky, and then falling into the ocean, like a burning mountain. , resulting in the destruction of a third of the sea and the ships in it, and the dead living creatures dyed the water red.
3. The third trumpet sounds:
The third angel sounded his trumpet, and a great star, blazing like a torch, fell from the sky on a third of the rivers and on the springs of water—the name of the star is Wormwood. A third of the waters turned bitter, and many people died from the waters that had become bitter. (NIV, Revelation 8:10-11)
A star named Wormwood fell from the sky and fell on the river of the earth. Wormwood is a poisonous herb that contaminates fresh water resources, making it bitter and toxic.
This time the disaster may be that a planet deviates from its orbit and explodes and decomposes in space close to the earth. It breaks through the atmosphere surrounding the earth one after another, like burning torches, and the huge remnants fall like big stars into the mountains and water sources, causing three One-third of rivers and water sources were damaged.
4. The fourth trumpet sounds:
The fourth angel sounded his trumpet, and a third of the sun was struck, a third of the moon, and a third of the stars, so that a third of them turned dark. A third of the day was without light, and also a third of the night. (NIV, Revelation 8:12)
One-third of the sun, moon, and stars in the sky are darkened, and one-third of the day and night are dark and without light. This will be even darker than the sixth seal.
A more reasonable guess for this disaster is that the earth's atmosphere was severely damaged, and the air was filled with thick dust and smoke, making one-third of the earth unable to see the sun during the day and the moon and stars at night. . However, since the Bible clearly states that the light body was struck, it is impossible to imagine what the correct situation would be.

Woe to the inhabitants of the earth" This emphasizes the disaster of the first four trumpets and is not directly aimed at people. It was an indirect effect that hurt people; however, there was another disaster later when three angels blew their trumpets, which directly caused people's death, and the people on the earth would be in great woe!
5. The fifth trumpet sounds:
⑴.The angel sounded his trumpet, and a star fell from the sky.
The fifth angel sounded his trumpet, and I saw a star that had fallen from the sky to the earth. The star was given the key to the shaft of the Abyss. When he opened the Abyss, smoke rose from it like the smoke from a gigantic furnace. The sun and sky were darkened by the smoke from the Abyss. (NIV, Revelation 9:1-2)
The fifth angel sounded his trumpet, and I saw a star that had fallen from the sky to the earth. The star is given the key to the shaft of the Abyss and opens the Abyss, so it is not an ordinary star. There are two explanations:
①Satan
The great dragon was hurled down—that ancient serpent called the devil, or Satan, who leads the whole world astray. He was hurled to the earth, and his angels with him. (NIV, Revelation 12:9, Isaiah 14:12)
②Abaddon, Apollyon
They had as king over them the angel of the Abyss, whose name in Hebrew is Abaddon and in Greek is Apollyon (that is, Destroyer). (NIV, Revelation 9:11)
And locusts came out of the smoke and flew to the earth; and power was given to
⑵. Locusts come down on the earth out of the smoke to harm those who do not have the seal of God.
And out of the smoke locusts came down on the earth and were given power like that of scorpions of the earth. They were told not to harm the grass of the earth or any plant or tree, but only those people who did not have the seal of God on their foreheads.(NIV, Revelation 9:3-4)
And locusts flew out of the smoke and came to the earth; and power was given to them, just as the scorpions on the earth have power. "Locusts" are not ordinary locusts, but locusts specially designed to cause pain to people during the great tribulation. If they are not the incarnation of demons, they are at least monsters possessed by demons, and they want to harm people on the earth.
These locusts cannot harm anyone who has the seal of God (speaking in tongues is the seal of God), and can only attack those who do not have the seal of God. Once something like this happens, it will cause many people to believe in Jesus because they have God’s protection. This is a miracle and salvation in the great tribulation.
⑶. For five months, people will not die.
They were not allowed to kill them but only to torture them for five months. And the agony they suffered was like that of the sting of a scorpion when it strikes. During those days people will seek death but will not find it; they will long to die, but death will elude them. (NIV, Revelation 9:5-6)
These locusts do not harm the grass, green vegetation, or any tree on the ground; but they are given power, like the power of a scorpion, which stings people and causes them to suffer for five months. During these five months, people can neither survive nor die! Even if you use various methods to commit suicide, such as hanging, jumping off a building, crashing a car, etc., you will not die but will be tortured alive.

①.great earthquake

I will execute judgment on him with plague and bloodshed (NIV, Ezekiel 38:22)
④. Various natural disasters
I will pour down torrents of rain, hailstones and burning sulfur on him and on his troops and on the many nations with him. (NIV, Revelation 38:22)
⑷. The rest of mankind who were not killed still do not repent
The rest of mankind who were not killed by these plagues still did not repent of the work of their hands; they did not stop worshiping demons (beast: antichrist), and idols of gold, silver, bronze, stone and wood—idols (image of the beast) that cannot see or hear or walk. Nor did they repent of their murders, their magic arts, their sexual immorality or their thefts. (NIV, Revelation 9:20-21).
VIII. Before the seventh trumpet is sounded, various visions appear to communicate the spiritual meaning of the scriptures.
1. When the angel’s seventh trumpet sounds, the thousand-year kingdom appears and God’s mystery is accomplished.
But in the days when the seventh angel is about to sound his trumpet, the mystery of God will be accomplished, just as he announced to his servants the prophets.”(NIV, Revelation 10:7)
The first angel sounded the trumpet, and the disasters started from the great tribulation. When the seventh angel sounded his trumpet, it is written: there were loud voices in heaven, which said: “The kingdom of the world has become the kingdom of our Lord and of his Messiah, and he will reign for ever and ever.” (NIV, Revelation 11:15) This is when the thousand-year kingdom appears on the earth and God’s mystery is accomplished! This is the good news predicted by the prophets!
At the end of the millennium, Jesus will return to Jerusalem to reign as king, sit on the throne of David, govern the nation of Israel, and shepherd the people of the entire earth. Whether they are those who keep the law or obey the truth, Everyone must believe in Jesus. This is the good news God preached to all the prophets.
Jesus taught people to pray this way: “This, then, is how you should pray: Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name, your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. (NIV, Matthew 6:9-10 ) These are the first three sentences of the Lord’s Prayer, which refer to the coming of the thousand-year kingdom.
2. God commanded John to eat the little scroll
So I went to the angel and asked him to give me the little scroll. He said to me, “Take it and eat it. It will turn your stomach sour, but ‘in your mouth it will be as sweet as honey.’ ” ( NIV, Revelation 10:9)

IX.the mysteries of heaven
The new heaven and new earth in the future will be the Kingdom of God, which is the so-called heaven. The overall structure is a huge temple, which is the God who fills all things and is His glorious appearance in the universe!
I know a man in Christ who fourteen years ago was caught up to the third heaven. Whether it was in the body or out of the body I do not know—God knows. (NIV, 2 Corinthians 12:2)
The vastness and majesty of the Kingdom of Heaven is indescribable, it is an endless realm; the overall blueprint design is a huge temple. The worship areas of the temple can be divided into the Holy of Holies, the Holy Place, and the Outer Court, which are the third heaven (the highest heaven), the second heaven (the ordinary heaven), and the first heaven (the lowest heaven).
Each level of the sky is covered with countless small temples, and the structure of each small temple also includes the Holy of Holies, the Holy Place, and the Outer Court. The various levels of heaven in the new heaven and new earth include the third level of heaven, the second level of heaven, and the first level of heaven. All added together, they are the magnificent, glorious and gorgeous heaven.
1. The "Holy of Holies" in heaven is the holy city in the shape of a cube, in the third heaven of the new heaven and new earth.
The city was laid out like a square, as long as it was wide. He measured the city with the rod and found it to be 12,000 stadia in length, and as wide and high as it is long. (NIV, Revelation 21:16)
⑴. The Holy of Holies in the temple is a cube.
Solomon built the temple. The inner sanctuary was twenty cubits long, twenty wide and twenty high (NIV, 1 Kings 6:19-20). The inner sanctuary is the Holy of Holies, a right cube with the same length, width, and height. All these specifications are exactly according to what God commanded Moses, which is the dimensions of the tabernacle in heaven.
⑵. Th holy city is a right cube, which is the Holy of Holies in heaven, located on the third level of heaven.
The holy city in heaven, New Jerusalem, is a regular four-cube shape with the same length, width and height.The angel who talked with me had a measuring rod of gold to measure the city, its gates and its walls. The city was laid out like a square, as long as it was wide. He measured the city with the rod and found it to be 12,000 stadia in length, and as wide and high as it is long (NIV, Revelation 21:15-16). This proves that this glorious holy city in heaven is a standard right cube, which is the Holy of Holies in heaven. Located in the highest three heavens.
⑶. Only those whose names are written in the Lamb’s book of life can enter the Holy City in the shape of a cube.
Nothing impure will ever enter it, nor will anyone who does what is shameful or deceitful, but only those whose names are written in the Lamb’s book of life (NIV, Revelation 21:27).
Those in the Lamb’s Book of Life, whose names are written in Jesus’ Book of Life, refer to those who are loved by God and receive Jesus’ salvation: blood (repentance), water (baptism), and the Holy Spirit (speaking in tongues). The testimony of the blood, water, and Holy Spirit. And this is the testimony: God has given us eternal life, and this life is in his Son (NIV, 1 John 5:11). The Bible says: Jesus Christ is the true God and eternal life. (1 John 5:20)
The city in the shape of a cube does not have the sun or the moon to illuminate it, nor does it have any other light. Instead, it is illuminated by the glory of God, and the Lamb is its lamp. The source of this light is from Jesus Christ, because the Father has given Him the authority of light, and He is the radiance of the glory of God.
⑷. The holy city is a temple.
I did not see a temple in the city, because the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are its temple. (NIV, Revelation 21:22)
In John's vision, he did not see a temple in the holy city, that is, a temple without a fixed building, a temple that would not move. Under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, he wrote this sentence: "The Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are its temple.”
The holy city in heaven, New Jerusalem, is the bride, the wife of the Lamb (Revelation 21:9), which is the body of Christ; the Bible says: “But the temple he had spoken of was his body.” (NIV, John 2:21) Therefore, the holy city in the shape of a cube is actually a temple, where the body of Christ appears in the kingdom of heaven and the glory of God in heaven appears.
The holy city in the shape of a cube is filled with all the richness of God, with streets of gold, pearly gates, jasper walls, a city of fine gold... and a foundation decorated with twelve precious stones! These are not metaphors or symbols; they are all real, tangible, and inhabited in the body of Christ (the bride: the holy city, New Jerusalem). As the Bible says, For in Christ all the fullness of the Deity lives in bodily form (NIV, Colossians 2:9)
⑸. The holy city in the shape of a cube is based on the blueprint of the temple. It also has the Holy of Holies, the Holy Place, and the outer court.
The holy city in the shape of a cube in heaven itself is a majestic great temple. All structures in the city are constructed according to the blueprint of the temple, including the Holy of Holies, the Holy Place, and the outer court. There are three major categories of overcomers living in the city. They serve in their own positions according to their different positions and ranks. Everyone coordinated together to sing, praise and worship the Father and the Lamb as a whole!
①, King (High Priest: Holy of Holies)
And they will reign for ever and ever. (NIV, Revelation 22:5).
Anyone who reigns in the holy city in the shape of a cube has the office of king and the responsibility of the high priest, and must enter the "Holy of Holies" of the city in the shape of a cube to serve. This is the most sacred and holy place in the Quartet Holy City; they will worship God here, sing praises to the Almighty the LORD, and praise His beloved Son Jesus Christ.
②.Be a servant (priest: holy place)
The throne of God and of the Lamb will be in the city, and his servants will serve him (NIV, Revelation 22:3).
And you will be called priests of the LORD, you will be named ministers of our God (NIV, Isaiah 61:6).
Those who are servants in the holy city have the office of priests and must serve, worship and perform their duties in the "holy place" in the city. In the Old Testament era, priests had to perform three important services in the "holy place" of the tabernacle every morning and evening: offering sacrifices, lighting lamps, and burning incense.
③. All nations (Levites: outer court)
And the leaves of the tree are for the healing of the nations. (Revelation 22:2)
There is no more curse in the holy city! All the people in the city were chosen by God to serve God in the outer court as Levites. The Levites in the Old Testament served in the outer court, killing burnt offerings and other sacrifices for the people, and they also had to stand in front of the people to serve those who came to offer sacrifices.
